  • Clear copy of ID
  • Proof Of Residence, not older than 3 months, reflecting the Applicants name, surname and residential address
  • Latest Salary Advice (Payslip)
  • Last 3 months Bank Statements - stamped by your Bank

Please note the following conditions:

  • Applicants must be salaried or waged individuals
  • The Applicants salary must be deposited into a bank account. Such salary deposits into the Applicants bank account do not have to be electronic. Salaries that are deposited into a bank account by cheque are also acceptable
  • No loans may be granted to self-employed individuals. A self-employed individual is a person who has control over the payment of their own salary
  • No loans may be granted to Applicants undergoing debt counselling or who are under debt review
  • No loans may be granted to Applicants under administration
  • No loans may be granted to Applicants under sequestration
  • No loans may be granted to minors
  • No loans may be granted to existing Capitec Bank loan clients who are in arrears
  • No loans may be granted to previously handed over Capitec Bank loan clients
  • No loans may be granted to commission earners
  • No loans may be granted to cash payers
  • No loans may be granted to foreign nationals
  • In the case of contract workers, the loan term may not exceed the remaining term of the contract
  • Monthly paid Applicants' bank statements must show latest 2 salary drops
  • Weekly paid Applicants’ bank statements must show latest 5 salary drops
  • Fortnightly paid Applicants’ bank statements must show latest 3 salary drops
